Gambel's quail habitat

Arizona Quail

Gambel's quail flush

From late November thru early February I conduct quail hunts in the high desert grass lands and oak savanna country of southeastern Arizona.  Birds hunted are Gambel's, Mearns' and scaled quail.  There are also mourning doves  to shoot in December.

I guide every week for threeto four days a week. I spend the rest of my time scouting for birds and training my young bird dogs.  Each year I have a limited number of open dates.

When hunting Gambel’s quail, scaled quail and mourning doves, I use the town of Willcox.  When hunting Mearns' quail I use the town of Patagonia.  Drive time from the Tucson airport to either Willcox or Patagonia is about 1.5 hours.

If you would like to book a hunt give me a call or send your inquiry by going to the Contact Us page.
